Strawberry Protein Ice cream, YUM!

Do you desire ice cream but are afraid the nutritional breakdown will affect your results??? Well, I've found a recipe that will put your mind at ease and allow you to indulge a little during your weight-loss successes!
Recipe: Strawberry Protein Ice Cream
Ingredients:
> 1 cup egg whites
> 8 large frozen strawberries
> 1 cup vanilla protein powder
> 1/4 cup water
> 1 teaspoon of stevia or Splenda
Method:
1. Beat egg whites into stiff peaks
2. In a blender, blend frozen strawberries and water until slushy
3. Mix together firm egg whites and strawberry mix. Stir gently adding gradually protein powder and stevia
4. Put in the freezer for minimum 12 hours or overnight
Nutritional Breakdown:
> 50g protein
> 18g carbs
> 1g fat

or if you want something with less work/time and just as tasteful:
just put in about
180 g of strawberries
1-2 servings of chocolate protein powder
1/2 to 1 cup crushed ice
1 cup milk
Blend on low for about 2 minutes, then high for about a minute, then back to low for about 3 minutes. You will end up with either 1 of the following:
Super thick milkshake
Super Super thick milkshake that is like ice cream after it's been sitting in a bowl for a it
Both are delish. Usually comes out to about 300-350 calories for me0 -

If you don't have an ice crusher then you are *kitten* out of luck because i've tried with regular ice and it doesn't work as well.0 -
