Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and am trying to drop 15 pounds that crept up on me last year. Partly because of the birth control I was on (depo) but also just lax eating habits. I've never had a problem with my weight before and tracking calories is very frustrating for me. I'm hoping this site will be a valuable resource

Good luck! Thanks for the add.
I'm right there with you, especially this time of year it's very hard to maintain a healthy minimum weight! I don't religiously use MFP to track calories, but I find it's very helpful to get back on track. I'm eating mostly plant based foods these days, and I was slowly but surely putting on a lbs here and there. Without animal based products, it's very hard to balance high protein foods againt high sugar foods for sure.
The BC is also an additional challenge with fighting off cravings! But we are already on our way to losing weight!0
