Activity levels

A couple of weeks ago I dropped my activity level down as I was not losing the recommended 1 pound per week based on 1400 calories a day based on my weight 71 Kilos and height 155cm tall. During this stage I was exercising an hour a day 4 days a week and I was eating most of the exercise calories back. With the drop in activity level MFP then placed me on 1260 calories per day which I have mostly stuck to and due to having a stupid head cold I have had no exercise for the last 1 and a half weeks. Imagine my surprise when I weighed myself this morning and I have actually lost 500 grams ( a little over 1 pound) in that 1 and a half weeks. As I am now feeling better I will start increasing my workouts back to an hour a day and eat the exercise calories to hopefully progress with losing more weight to get me down to 60 kilos. I found it interesting and thought I would share my experience in case others may need to alter activity levels. I suppose it is all trial and error to find that "magic Potion" that works for us all.....:smile:
