Healthy food/metabolism boost

Hi, There.
I gained most of my weight after I quitted smoking. Didn't realized that not until I came up to 200 lbs.
And clothes would not fit and going shopping was a big struggle since whatever I wanted didn't look on me. I decided this year that it was time to take care of myself and see how I can lose all these fatty looks.I started looking up information.Ahhh! I tried all diets and all types of pills.I also tried a weight control center and ended losing money.And forget about those shakes or bars...no good at all.You gain back whatever you lose plus double.This is a true story.
So I decided to let know to my family of my intentions to lose weight.My daughter in law(Thanks Joan) gave me this site.And I visit it and I like it.So I'm here losing pounds.And sharing some tips that have helped me on my way to lose weight.Hope it will helped you too.

I found out recently that if you eat green vegetables(broccoli, green peppers, green beans, etc.) it will boost your metabolism and it will help to keep you healthy.
Eating the white color food(rice, bread, pasta, potato,etc.) during breakfast and lunch it will help you to loose weight.Sure, all depends of the portions you eat.But let's say you eat the recommended portion. OK???
The other thing I've learned is at dinner(for Supper) eat meat(any type up to 8 oz.) with green salad or green vegetables.
Juices and Fruits are to be taken w/ empty stomach and prefer before 4 pm.
For night cravings, eat popcorn or jello no sugar w/ cool whip.
