Is it a treat?

With the holidays here you know there is going to be a ton of food.Company party's family gatherings sales people bringing food as gifts all the temptations everywhere we look. I hear people say oh just treat yourself this one time or it won't hurt you can work it off later. I am going into this holiday season and other tempting situations with a new attitude. I have been up and down with my weight so many times that if I could take all the fat that I have lost I could make another me. So instead of a treat if I mess up it will be a cheat. That means I will look at whatever bad food I put into my mouth as extra work that will take time away from my family or time to do other things. Because I want to get this weight off I know it will be hard work but in the long run it will make me feel better and to me this will be my treat. Happy Holidays!

  • I am very lucky because I'm not into sweets so I'm not tempted by all the treats in the office BUT the 7-layer dip and chips that was brought in, now that's my kind of treat.

It has to be a food I can't get all the time and I ask myself is it worth it and can I stop at 1 serving - If I can honestly say yes, then I enjoy every bite!!!!
