protien powder for cheap

At some point, I'm going to start strength training, and I think I might need some extra protein. I want to try the powder, but i don't want to shell out $20 just to find that I hate it.

So, is there somewhere I can buy some samples, or get just a small jar to try it out?

Are there any brands that you recommend? I am thinking I want a whey protein.

    At Whole Foods I know you can buy individual packets of lots of different protein powders.

    if ur gonna cheap out on protein ur going to hate the flavour..... just quit being cheap n get decent stuff like whey smooth chocolate.. it tastes like dessert!!!! n its only $49.99 for a 5lbs bucket! 72 servings!

    for samples walk into a supplement store ask them if they say no then email companies direct online and they will mail you samples... done this before and got alot of good stuff!!
