My very first NSV!!!

I've been trying to get through the 30 Day shred in fewer than 30 days (by doing it twice a day on some days).... However, I've had to slow down as it was having too much of an impact on my knees and lower back. I'm currently on day 17.
Anyway...
1. I took a day off the day before yesterday to let my body recover a little, then came yesterday, I put my heart rate monitor strap on around my upper waist (as you do) and it slipped right off.. I had to tighten it by at least and 1.5 inches. I was very surprised and very happy! XD Hahaha
2. Then, today, I had to do some washing, so I pulled out some uncomfortable tracky pants that I bought a few months ago.. only to discover that they actually fit a lot better!
The thing that surprises me the most is that I have only been doing the Shred as exercise and I actually weigh more than when I first started on MFP, yet, I am so happy with the way my body is looking/shaping up :-)

It sounds like you have added muscle! That is great! Muscle burns many more calories!

That is great - Congrads!!!!!!
I firmly believe that measuring and the fit of clothes are a great gauge of weight loss. If your clothes fit different and the scale stays the same - who's lying?!?!! The scale is the devil :mad:0 -
Awesome job, congrats!!! Its nice also that you're not scale dependent when it comes to measuring progress. Keep it up, MUSCLE ROCKS!!!0

I completely agree!!! They're so evil! I actually had to convince myself not to weigh myself today... I want to do this journey without the dependence on the number on the scales... It is hard though, lol. We all set a goal weight not goal measurements.0 -
I am also in a phase where I increase my muscles to increase my metabolism...as long as I get closer to the shape I want, I do not really care about the figures. I even start to think I may keep this weight as I am not sure I chose the right weight. I just want to get rid of fat actually. More than weight, I want my body a certain shape. Weight loss has nervertheless been a great motivator
Oh, and wel done! A program is good as ong as you notice changes....seems you got a good one and you seem very enthousiastic to get back to your workouts. Keep on the good job.0
