You know you're addicted to a healthier lifestyle/working out when:
1. MFP is your homepage.
2. Everything extra you buy is related to fitness.
3. Your first reaction when you decide you're bored is to go for a walk.
4. Instead of staring enviously at fashion models you stare enviously at fitness models.
5. You're used to the number of bathroom trips required when drinking 8 cups of water every day.
6. You could add more to this list but you realize you need to go drink some more water.
Number 3, I suspect I shall be walking a lot over Christmas0 -
When you are less concerned with filling your closet with new career clothes that fit and instead focus on buying new workout clothes that fit..... and you inquire if the Gym is open on Christmas and ARE DISAPPOINTED WHEN THEY LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOU HAVE A 3RD EYE AND SAY NO!
How dare they close? what are they thinking, people gotta get their workout on!!
For me, it has been when all I want for Christmas is a GOOD juicer, and have dropped numerous hints, including marking it in the BB&B catalog and leaving out for everyone to see!0 -
or when you trying to find a nice way to ask your mom to cook extra veggies so you can skip the mac and cheese at Christmas0
-
or when you asked for a Kettle bell on your secret santa wishlist!!0

when your enthusiasm draws your parents in... My mom and I are starting the C25K and going to run a 5K together!!!! rly our first mother daughter bonding moment... Also when your parents go out and spend who knows what on a HRM and the chest strap and the flow link and ask no questions about why in the world do you want that for Christmas!0

when two weeks before Christmas you wonder
1)how you will log the food on 24th night as you do not cook (you are invited) and hardly see how you could ask the quantity of olive oil there is in the meal, what is the kind (or brand) of the zakouskis or the composition of the soup.
2) which workout you can do on 25th and 1st of January
I do not require a heart rate monitor anymore and I just downloaded more than 60h of videos on internet to help me on my first marathon...so, because christmas is about plaisure, my gift will be about the only extra I allow myself if I sticked to the plan the entire week: Belgian beers:drinker:0 -
or when you get in front of your favorite food and think "well I am full now, maybe another time"
or when you wake up with hard feelings in your legs, no more energy,...wondering how you could eventually walk to the car and end up on workouts the same day, for 2h, wishing you had more time to continue0
