Eating as much as calculated

I woke up this morning and I wasn't very hungry. I made myself eat a slice of toast and an apple. That didn't register very much calories. I am starting to work out too and I am trying to eat the calories in healthy calories but I get too full. (I have never said that I have been too full when trying to lose weight, LOL!)

I guess my question is: What is a healthy food that I can eat and get good calories out of?

    Chicken, eggs, avocado, nuts, protein shakes, protein bars or even cooking some of the food in olive oil.

    I second the Proteins!! Also try smoothies, a great way to get lots of good calories while getting fruit and fiber in a delish drink.
