This has nothing to do with weight loss but I feel it needs to be shared. Whille this may not be ALL enfamil formula one cautionary recall of a single batch is a big deal to me and hopefully all mothers with infants. I can't imagine loosing my 10 day old child and I am sharing this because I hope no one else looses their child from this.

While it is not certian yet that the forumla was the cause I would rather share this and be safe knowing other moms saw it and shared and did not use the formula than sorry and someone loose their child.

Please share this on your facebook, twitter and any other social media so if any of your friends have the lot numbers they can discard them!! Thanks

That's just horrible. I breastfed my son but I did supplement with formula. Its pretty scary and I can't even imagine what that mother is going through.

It is terrible!! I tried BF my 8mo old but he came too early or so we thought but by the time we figured out he was allergic to milk and were able to get me lactose free we had already put him on formula. I can't imagine and my heart goes out to the mother!! That is why I have posted it everywhere I can becuase if it does come back the formula caused it I just hope no others end up in this situation. I don't think I would be able to get over something like that--I don't know how you could

It's the enfamil newborn in the baby blue canister they've pulled, lot number ZP1K7G. At this point it's only WalMart that has pulled it and I believe it's just a safety precaution until they've figured out exactly what the little boy died from. Its not a goverment recallat this time. It looks like that batch has been tested and was negative for any bacteria. Now they're looking at what his formula was prepared with. I'd suggest that if you have that batch from any store just set it aside and don't use it until they've reached the conclusion on the cause of death of that little guy.

If you're worried about seeing that brand on the shelf at the store, don't worry. Once a recall is issued it's put into the system on a corporate level at WalMart. The item will come up 'sale not allowed' at the register and the cashier will not be able to sell it. ( And customers still seem to get upset that they can't purchase an item. : P The joys of retail!)
