Would love to have a motivation buddy!

Hi everyone!

Now that the New Year is fast approaching, I'd really like to focus more on my health and get into shape so that I feel better about my body. I'm at about 140 pounds now, plus or minus, but my goal is to get down to around 125-130. The only problem is, I haven't been taking care of myself as well as I should be - I've been reaching for sugary treats and junk food way more than I should, and I don't seem as motivated to work out anymore. I also feel kind of lethargic, and need a "kick in the butt" to get me going.

I would love to have a motivation buddy so we can help each other out, or if you know of any groups on here that I could join, that would be great! I feel like I need to be accountable to someone and would like to share along the way and be supportive.

I've tried a lot of different things - had success on South Beach and lost seven pounds in two weeks, but ever since I went on birth control a couple years ago, I feel like it's harder for me to both lose weight and keep it off. I really want to go into 2012 without any excuses and feel great, look great!
