Plateau Problem :/

So I've done myfitnesspal before and I lost a good 10 lbs! However, with a super busy schedule this last summer (3 part time jobs) and a busy school schedule this last semester I've been too busy to keep up, I've been on and off working out and tried to stay at least a little on track, but I did gain about 5 lbs back.


I am currently 139.5 lbs and I started out on this journey again about a week ago at 138.5 lbs...so I've gained a pound...this makes NO sense to me...My main meals were a caramel macchiato and scone for breakfast, a ham sandwich with apples and peanut butter and a yogurt for lunch, sometimes fries and some type of wrap for lunch, then a frozen dinner for dinner (usually an unhealthy banquet meal.

My only thing is maybe because I'm not walking around at school anymore is why? But for the most part, it wasn't a lot of walking because with my major I'm in a seat most of the time...I do still have my treats, but I am eating them a lot more wisely then before...and now instead of getting a fatty caramel macchiato i've switched to the starbucks vias and they are a lot less calories! Please help : (

    Have you checked the values at the bottom of your Fats, Proteins, Carbohydrates and Cholesterol. I find by following those, I can see if I have gone over, or am under.

    You most likely were burning more when you were more active, it sounds like you have slowed down some, and your metabolism has slowed as well.

    Definitely kick up your water intake, and really fine tune your recording on your food diary.
