Desert and Guilty Runs!

Hi Guys,

Please help with advice. So, I am trying to lose weight (I am not overweight at all but need to slim down). I eat well during the day and stick within my calorie limit. However, I CANNOT resist sweets. It's like heroin - once I take a bite, I can eat half a cake or 4 snickers bars like an obsessed person. That;s why I try to stay away from sweets all together.

question - when I do binge on like 4 candy bars or half a cake, I feel super guilty and I go running for like an hour or 1.5 hrs..Does that make up for 1200 calorie binge? Someone told me that it doesnt work that way. That you can't eat 1000 calorie treat and then run for an hour and make the fat go away..

What do you think/know about this?

    May I suggest you get a heart rate monitor so you know how many calories you're burning when you run?

    Busting your butt exercising doesn't negate poor food choices.

    Edit: Also, do you really want to live your life feeling like you should go run 1.5 hours every time you binge? Doesn't seem like a very fun thing to do if you ask me.
