I aim for around 1200 calories a day. I have been reading many topics about "eating back" your workout calories, is it really important? I feel as though I lost weight fast enough without doing it, but that only leaves me with about 700 true calories for the day. Doesn't seem healthy to me. Also, I was wondering if this is a realistic goal to set: I am 5'7, 150 pounds and would like to be 135 by March 1st (starting back up with my diet January 1st when I get back to school) With this calorie intake and working out 4/5 days a week, is this a realistic goal? Sorry these may be dumb, I just want to make sure I know everything. I recently did a test online, and it told me I have a small body frame and that I should weight between 121-136 pounds, which kind of shocked me! So I am trying to re evaluate everything. Thanks!

Yes, eat them back. If you don't, your body will eventually start storing fat for you to live off of. 1200 per day might be too low for you entirely. I tried 1200 for a few months over the summer and I felt stupid and cranky every day!

that makes sense, I felt like I was CONSTANTLY hungry when I was eating 1200 calories. maybe I should bump it a little bit? I'm pretty active in college I mean I walk to class everyday (LARGE campus), babysit, and workout on top of that. Thanks! :)

CALORIES! Eat right, don't count calories. I've lost 145 pounds in the past 21 months. I have never counted calories.
Count carbs, not calories. Eat lots of fat, lots of protein, no sugars, starches, or wheat. The weight will fall off.
    FREEDOM, freedom from counting calories.
