Drinking water and getting stomach aches?

Im trying to start drinking water again yes im still on the soft dinks but im cutting down slowly and starting to drink water on the days were i feel like just water i get stomach aches dosent matter if i have eaten or not.Its reall off putting because i want to drink water instead but im not sure why i would be getting a sotmach ache.Is it possible my syster would be cleanign itself out from soft drink or something im not sure how it all works but id like to hear if its happend to anyone and what i should to stop the pains from drinking water.No i dont have any stomach problems only when i eat the wrong foods etc

When I first started working out and eating healthy, I hated water. Drinking it made me gag and my stomach would bother me when I drank too much. It just takes getting used too. I carry around a 32oz water bottle w me all day, and just sip on it all day and eventually I'll finish it. Try filling a cup with ice and water and using a straw..it helped me. And I also flavored my water for months in the beginning to get used to it. Now I dont drink anything BUT water. My high intensity cardio workouts also helped with the water problem, I easily drink 2 water bottles at the gym.0

that happened to
me too but I kept drinking it and now that is all I drink (except a Mai Tai here or there!)
it just takes used to and the benefits to your health are way worth it!!0 -
Do you think you may be drinking too much at once? That's the only time it makes me feel sick.0

Well at the moment im geting through half a bottle of water which is 600ml keep in mind im still cuting down on the soft drink ill have one can of coke usually gone by the arvo from there ill get my 600mml water out and it will last me to the end of the day but its usually still half full just because of the stomach aches. So no im not really drinking to much at once0

I had massive heartburn for weeks after drinking water. Took a special blend for me to get over it!
Google "Prevention Fire Water or Sassy Water"
Make the mixture and drink 1 jug of the stuff a day.
Its all I drink now is water!

Here is the sassy mixture...
8. 5 CUPS WATER
1 TSP/ GRATED GINGER
1 MED. CUCUMBER
1 MEDIUM LEMON
12 SPEARMINT LEAVES
For Fire water you exchange the lemon for a lime and add 3 shakes of tobasco.
COMBINE EVERYTHING AND LET IT STAND IN FRIDGE OVERNIGHT. DRINK ALL WATER THROUGHOUT NEXT DAY
I drank Fire water for a month straight.
The ginger and spearmint helps soothe the lower GI.
The tobasco helps with the metabolism.
cucumber and lime make it taste really good.0
