Great job! Can't wait to see more from you. You have the exact build as my boyfriend. I've been trying to get him to drop at least some weight. But all he wants to do is build arm muscle. And even then, he says he'll drop 20 pounds and start lifting again, it works for like 3 days, then doesn't do it again for a couple weeks, so on and so forth.

I wish you the best of luck! :)

Thanks guys! I've gotten some words of support from others too, never thought of all the inspiring people up here i'd be one of them providing the inspiration to others.

Sadly that honda chopper above isn't mine...I liked the paint job on it, but my love is sportbikes...

time for an updated picture...I was trying on a pair of my old jeans, thinking they were a size 42, and I managed to squeeze into them....then to my surprise they were 40's!....so, I decided it was time to stop by Old Navy (the 40's jeans were Old Navy) and see what size I was at......now a month before I started this I bought 2 pairs of 48w/30l jeans.......I tried on a few pairs and couldn't resist buying a pair....these are size 42w/32l. man that felt good...in this picture the shirt is a 2x(!) and the new jeans....current weight at 293.

And with my fedora that i've had for a few years and never had the courage to wear (now I do...lol), I call it my pimp hat..

I've officially gone thru my closet and I've thrown out all my old and very worn out 4x shirts...i'm solidly in a 3x now and almost in to a 2x, and I emptied out my bin of "skinny" clothes to fill in the now empty spaces in my closet...most of which i'll be able to wear in another 10-15 pounds...

Time to hit that elliptical hard..

Edit: thought i'd throw in these from when I was trying them on...

Wahoooooooooo! You look fantastic (and HAPPY) -- CONGRATULATIONS on all your hard work.
And I ALWAYS say, there's nothing sexier than a guy who's getting healthy for his family and his kids. That sweet little girl in your photo will LOVE having her healthy and happy dad around for a loooong time. Fantastic.
