20 pounds is 3 pant sizes? HOW???

Last night I went to JCPenney's to exchange a size 1 pant for a size zero (for my 6th grade daughter). While I was there, I saw that they had just marked a bunch of clothes in the bigger sizes down to $2.97 each. SO... I decided to get a few different sizes so I can be comfortable on my way down. I grabbed size 18s, 17s,16s (misses I think), 15s, size 14s. I took them all in the dressing room to try on and see how long it might be before I can get into them. I also bought 3-4 size XL tops and I had been in 2X and 3X!
I started this journey at a size 20W, and could SQUEEZE into some 16Ws. WELL!!! The 18s 17s and 16s were too big!! I got a pair of jeans like my daughter's in a size 15!!!!!! She is so proud of me! I am wearing the 14s to work today (only one of the 14s were too small on me!)
I think all my weight is coming off my gut, which I believe is because of the candy, cake and sweets I was so addicted to for years! I have gotten away from it thanks to my allergist and his rx for fluconazole! The scale says 194 this morning and I want to get to a size 8, which used to be 132 pounds. Now I kind of wonder what that will look like!
I'm so excited!

That's so funny because I've lost 19 pounds and haven't dropped a pants size yet. My dress pants are a little bit baggy in the thighs and butt, but still fit in the waist. But you're giving me something to look forward to! Congrats! :drinker:0

Wow you're lucky, I wish I would lose more in my tummy.
I've lost almost 30 and while all of my pants fit so much better...in fact I NEED a belt to hold them up, I kind of doubt the next size down would fit, let alone three sizes down.
But like I said, I've lost some in my tummy, but it seems like it's coming off everywhere else first and the tummy is last. Good for you!0 -
I'm not one who can stand tight pants on my waist though, and my legs and butt have always been on the slimmer side.:blushing:0

Supa job, girl. You're my motivation. You started off about the same weight I was at. I want to get down to 194. Thanks, I'm going to the gym right now!
