So I have my activity level set on sedentary because i spend most of the day sitting (in class, at work, doing homework, etc) however i walk 2-3 miles every day just getting around campus, and i very rarely drive. so my question is - do i count my daily walking off of my calories? or is that part of my daily activity level even though its the lowest level?

Thanks for your help :)

if you walk at a normal pace for 2 to 3 miles a day, I would change your activity level to lightly active. Walking at a normal pace probably won't up your metabolism very much, but it will keep it from lowering, and keep your legs in relatively decent shape, which is why you can up your activity level.
