Where to buy clothes?
I turned 30 this year and I struggle to find clothes to wear. I feel too old to wear most of the stuff in the Juniors section and I'm not old enough to shop in the women's sections...what stores out there have an "in between" women's section. I've never been much of a shopper so I have no idea where to go. Any suggestions would be awesome. I do love Maurice's, but feel too old there sometimes too. lol

Get thee to a Reitmans. I love it. A lot of great sizing options, mostly dressy/office clothes, and their jewelry is always two for one. If you want edgier stuff, this place wont be your thing. It's more of a classic style.0

I love Maurices. I wouldn't worry about feeling too old in there. My mom often wears stuff for younger people, and one time my aunt called her out on it, but she didn't care at all and she shouldn't! If it looks good, it doesn't matter if it's for juniors or older women.
Old Navy is my first recommendation!! Sometimes their clothes are geared toward younger people, but they have a lot of really cute basics like tank top and cardigans. Any of the outfits on this page are age-appropriate for a 30 year old. http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=74383
I also am in love with their new pullover sweaters - so chic and easy, and you probably don't need to accessorize unless you're wearing a plain colored one. http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=60790&vid=1&pid=111892&scid=111892002
A cardigan like this would be very cute with a neutral colored tank top. http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=60783&vid=1&pid=851478&scid=851478012 Today, I wore the gray dotted one with this tank top underneath: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=26194&vid=1&pid=897543 but that might be a little more younger look although I am sure you could pull it off!!
Also, the same thing applies to American Eagle or The Gap. I love this tank top paired with a black sweater: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/guides/lookstolivein.jsp?catId=cat5340022
If you're by a Forever 21 try there too. They have a lot of current pieces that are cheap. They don't last too long but they're inexpensive. I like this because it's simple yet makes a statement, especially if you paired it with boots:

Love this too for a more casual look: http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=whatsnew_app_tops&ProductID=2005757247&VariantID=
You don't necessarily need to shop at the stores I listed, but think about the looks and you can always find less expensive versions of them! I really like JcPennys, Target and Kohls, especially the Elle line and the Lauren Conrad line. LC's line is really soft and neutral, which I love.
Can you tell I love cardigans?? I'm really into them right now. They are sooo simple to wear yet always look like you're trying hard!0 -
I think JC Pennys, Gordmans, Old Navy, and TJ Maxx would be a good place to start.0

If you're looking for "in-between" stuff, I'd hit a Kohl's if you have them. You won't have to spend a fortune on clothes you think you might only need for a while. I've found some good deals there.0

At Macy's, go to the 'Impulse' area.

I'm 39 and do most of my shopping at Kohls and JCPenney. Sometimes in the juniors, sometimes misses. With JCP, you can sign up for mobile coupons, which is really nice. Got one for tomorrow and Tuesday, $10 off purchase of $25.0

I'm 24 but I tend to dress like I'm 30. I'm a big fan of Gap and Old Navy - I feel like their looks are pretty timeless.0

JCPenney, Old Navy, Sears, Macy's, Gap, Kohls, Gordmans [my favorite store ever!] Target has some inbetweens too, I think.0

I shop at lot at Dress Barn for work and dressy clothes. I also like Daffy's, TJ Maxx, and Loehman's. It depends on what you have nearby and what you do - I work in an office.0
