The 2011 Goal

So I told myself at the beginning of the year that I was going to drop 52 pounds. Unfortunately I fell far off course and didn't even start to focus on that goal until early November. by then I had gained another 12 pounds, meaning I have to lose 64 to reach my goal. That's the bad news.

The good news is that I've been paying very close attention to my exercise level and what I've been eating in the last 45 or so days, and I've dropped 21 pounds in that time! 43 pounds to go and I'll be at my goal.

I recently bought a Kinect for my Xbox 360 (I'm a video game nut, part of my problem). I bought EA Sports Active Fit 2 for it, and I'm hoping that once I'm able to use it (I live in a small college dorm with a roommate, not much room), I'll be able to lose some more weight.

I guess the moral of my story is that if you've lost sight of your goals or have forgotten about them and maybe put on a few pounds, don't give up! It's still possible to be a better you.
