NSV- Facebook Pics

So,

Before I lost any weight one of the things that would drive terror into my heart, was when I would go to a group event with friends and people would start to break out the cameras. Eeek! No matter how I tried to run from the cameras inevitably someone would take an unflattering picture (because isn't every picture unflattering when you're in denial about what you look like?) and upload it to facebook. I used to dread the days after a big group event and check facebook multiple times throughout the day to un-tag myself in these photos. (Sad, I know! But I'm being completely honest.)

A couple nights ago, my group of friends had a dinner to celebrate Christmas, and wouldn't you know it, brought out the cameras for some group pictures. I woke up this morning and saw that I had been tagged in a bunch, and begrudgingly clicked on the album to see how they turned out.

And...they turned out GREAT!!! I couldn't believe it! I look happy and dare I say it, skinny in some of them! Another amazing perk of losing weight and getting healthy! I don't have to hide from the camera any more! Honestly, this was the best Christmas present I could ask for. Just wanted to share!

I know just what you mean and totally agree. I like the camera now. Although still a ways to go. Well done. Great NSV.
