Earbuds (sweat proof, comfort, stay in place)

I understand we've been here before as I just went through the SEARCH option. However, with the the speed rate of ever so changing technology, and the multiple amounts of models that come out per year I dare ask again.

I have loved my ipod/iphone earbuds, they've been through wash/dry cycles in my laundry and have come out ok everytime, and they always fit fine with no discomfort after long periods of time. Anyways, lately they've been going out on me because i'll build up too much sweat going into my ear. The sweat will work it's way into the little screen nearly muting the bud. It's been happening more frequently, and it messes with my zone/drive/beast mode

I'm sure I can google for hours and check the reviews and all that junk, but I just thought i'd check with my pals first since you folks are the real people putting these products through hell. So.. What the best way to go, or what works for you?

Looking for sound quality, comfort, sweat proof, and what did you pay?

thank you

Skullcandy (avail at TARGET) for $50min. They encase your whole ear and while you will still sweat, the sweat won't get into the speaker (unless you sweat buckets). Good sound quality. Yes, a bit bulky and conspicuous. Nobody will bother you with those on and/or easier to ignore people. Just wave and smile. LOL

I know some may think they're nerdy, geeky or bulky, but I don't care what anybody thinks as long as I get my mojo on and do my thang.

$5 at Five Below. They are simple buds, but have rubber thingies instead of foam that go into your ear. They stay put most of the time unless I do something goofy like inverted sit ups.

I use JVC Gumy earbuds that I purchased at Walmart for $8. The housing is curved to fit in the ear and so far, I have not had any problems with them. They never ever fall off.

there are also smaller ear bud skull candies. I believe they are noise cancelling too. I like the $100 boise noise cancelling ones as well. expensive, but they sound AMAZING and last a long time.

Wo! $100 I'd feel guilty spending that much for something simple for myself. But I love my sessions and my music. I better be extra nice and maybe Santa will get me a late request. :) I'll be looking out for a new set on ebay or something, I'f I can get something that good with %25 off i'd be happy

@ $50 the ones I wear make me feel like I'm in a friggin' car with a sound system and/or in a club. I love making my eardrums POUND. LOL, I'mma be a deaf lady soon. I don't like sticking **** in my ear except Q-tips.

I can't do earbuds... they just WONT stay in! I love my Bose over the ear noise cancelling headphones. Pricey but very comfy and fabulous sound!! I've had mine for 8 years and they are still good to go!

Yurbuds!!! Only ones I found that stay in place. I got the cheaper ones ($30 on sale at Best Buy) I have spent way more than that on several other cheaper kinds that never stay in place. Very good sound quality and very good blocking out all other noises. LOVE THEM!

Ok so i'm on ebay right now and I think I can do this. Bose (highly rated brand) earbuds seem to have multiple sellers with auctions ending within hours and current multiple bids seem to put a final cost around $55-$75. If the audio is even 10% better than the stock iphone buds, than I will be super satisfied.

I promise you will not be disapointed! I love mine. Try to find the ones that come with the sport earbuds if you can they are awesome!
