So my biggest challenge is my diabetes.
I am terrified that I will never get it under control.
For any of you living with this disease, what helped you get your blood sugars in check? What challenges do you face on a daily basis? How do you cope? Is life ever fun and easy ever again even when you do have proper control of your blood sugars?
I would love feedback from anyone.
Thanks! looking forward to your thoughts...

T2 5.2 A1C Mine is fine now that I've lost weight, it came under great control after about the first 30 lbs. or so. I started out at 13.9 at my highest and have been now well under 6 for quite sometime.
5-6 mini meals a day, carb/protein combo each meal. I do alot of cardio-5-6 days a week, strength training 3 times weekly.
I eat healthy, very little refined sugar, hm..well just healthier choices than I used to make before I got the 'click'!
I find that doing the above helps mine to stay level I was on several meds but was able to get off them shortly after I began healthy eating and excercise in Summer of 07.

I have to say my mother in law use to have really high sugar readings. Her readings used to be like 400 sometimes close to 500.But she lost 80 pounds and now its under control .She still has to use medication to control it but it never goes higher than 200 now.I hope this helps!! I also know my doctor has told me that as long as you exercise and eat right you can control it.I don't have the disease but my father ,grandmother and grandfather have it and I am trying to lose weight so I don't develope it.Good luck on your weight loss journey!!0
