hello all, I am new on mfp. I am a mom of 4 - 17, 9, 7, and 5 yrs old - and have been trying to lose about 50 pounds for the last five years, since my youngest was born. I had previously been about average, not skinny but not fat. After I quit smoking 13 years ago, I put on 35 pounds and then my three little ones were born and I added another 15 pounds with those pregnancies. I put my starting weight at 210 ( I was guessing) but when I actually weighed I was only 200 (Yay - I already lost 10 lbs LOL). I'm not sure if I can change that on my info so my first week will look pretty good. It was exciting to find a site that will allow me to keep track of things and didn't cost anything! I look forward to chatting with you all and best of luck in your journeys>

Welcome. :flowerforyou: Great info and support here. Good luck on your journey.

P.S. HRM = Heart Rate Monitor. I takes the guess work out of how many calories you are burning during an excercise.
