I've used it for two bottles of it (taking a break in between) and have loved it. Along with diet and exercise of corse... Personally for me it really helped me wake up and have energy to get my workouts in before work in the morning :)

Not sure, but since I'm on synthroid I couldn't take this...right? I remember Jillian Michaels had a supplement out and my husband and I tried it. I felt fantastic...lots of energy etc., but then they changed the formula and it wasn't as good. Wonder if it's similar.

I've used OEP before, it's one of my favorite thermogenics and appetite suppressants. Make sure you have your diet cleaned up or you most likely won't see much difference past extra energy ....also make sure you drink a ton of water since it's a pretty strong stimulant.

I used it, lost 13 lbs in 35 days...but now I'm taking creatine to gain size and endurance in my weight training. Eventually I will get back on oxyelite pro when I cycle off of creatine.

Thank you all for your answers!

I'm on day four, so far:

_energy in the first hours, but it doesn't last all day!

_Definitly appetite suppressor and curb my cravings ( i could look at chocolat, cheese and not want to eat them) also help with my alcohol craving, I now barely can drink my second glass of wine, and I can't even stand the taste of liqueur!

_Makes me want to drink so much water, I go over the 91 oz recommended, but I also spend more time in the ladies room than in my job :)

Today Im starting to take the 2nd pill, I think I'm going to switch the time of intake according to my work out! If im working out in the morning I will take 2 in the morning ( like today) i'm working out later on the day, I will take it 5 hours after the first one!

Because of it diuretic action, I have lost lot of water weight over the past days, so clothes fit better, my ring also its not as tight around my fingers!

I am going to keep updating :)

Does anyone know if this is available in the UK, or just the USA? I tried something called "Phen375" (at least I think that's what it was called) - I don't know if this is similar, but that had very little effect on me. I feel like I could do with some help of some kind though - but I suppose these things are not a long-term solution.

I took Reductil (Sibutramine) for a while a few years ago, and it was quite good, but it's been banned now! :ohwell:

It has a weird blend of herbs and things too...

Bauhinia Purpurea L. (Leaf And Pod)(Standardized For Bauhnia-Statins 1-4), Bacopa Monniera (Leaf), 1,3-Dimethylamylamine (Geranium [Stem]), Cirsium Oligophyllum (Whole Plant Extract), Rauwolscine (Rauvolfia Canescens L. [Leaf And Root])

...but I wouldn't be surprised if those didn't do anything and the effects are all from the caffeine.

i'm on my second week. i lost 5 pounds the first week. no changes in diet or exercise because i've already made those changes months ago. i finally got the scale moving again!!!! i love this pill. i work in a salon that happens to be next door to gnc and they gave me some samples of it one day so i thought what the heck, i'll try it. so glad i did!

ps. it's more than a caffeine pill. caffeine pills do nothing for me and they generally have 200mg if i'm not mistaken

I got more energy from a banana.

Save your $35 and spend $1.96 on a bunch of bananas.

OxyElite was created to make companies like GNC money.

I didn't experience the crash either, and what I love is that no matter what time my alarm goes on, I don't hit the snooze botton anymore I fully awake!

I was taking it but started to feel weird (not a good weird) even when only taking 1 pill and was getting jittery (I used to drink 2 -4 energy drinks daily, I don't understand entirely how just caffiene could do that to me) so I layed off and in a few days felt fine again.

Not a 'don't use' but more of a 'Be careful please': OxyElite pro has a product called DMAA which has been linked to positive amphetamine results in drug tests and people collpsing after/during working out

A: The scientific name of DMAA is dimethylamylamine or methylhexanamine. DMAA is an ingredient that is found in a number of dietary supplements used to promote weight loss, bodybuilding and performance enhancement. This compound is a synthetic stimulant, and may be responsible for causing serious changes in blood pressure, headaches, lightheadedness, stroke, depression, elevated or irregular heartbeat, increased urination, dehydration, sweating, tremors, anxiety, and lethal exhaustion. The risk of these serious effects also appears to increase with the use of multiple stimulants, e.g. caffeine, heat and dehydration.

    Edit:
For anyone using other supplemets, OxyElite Pro, Jack3d, Presurge Unleashed and muscle spike all have DMAA

Here's where I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this. You tackled the caffeine dosage and "other ingredients" pretty well. I'll agree with you in that the other ingredients are less significant.

However, there are 119.5mg of proprietary blends; for those of you who are unaware of what this means, in a nutshell proprietary blends refers to a handful of ingredients that composes their formula but can safely conceal the composition in an effort to deter competitors from making "knockoff" copies of their popular products.

Here is the "Proprietary Blend" listing (straight from the bottle):
    - Bauhinia Purpurea L. (Leaf and Pod) Extract
Has been proven to stimulate the thyroid by converting the T4 hormones into T3 (these bring energy to cells throughout your body) -- the thyroid hormone regulates metabolism in humans and animals. That's why you'll notice that some people with various forms of thyroid disease will find it much easier to put on weight rather than getting it off.

    - Bacopa (Leaf) (Bacopa Monnieri) Extract
"Used in Ayurvedic system of medicine for improving intellect/memory, treatment of anxiety and neuropharmacological disorders." (Phytomedicine, 15-02-11) -- The sole purpose of this is to enhance memory and mental awareness.

    - (1,3)-Dimethylamylamine HCl
"This ingredient is like ephedrine. Its stimulant effects lie somewhere between caffeine and amphetamine. If we assume it has many of the same effects of ephedrine (which is a pretty safe assumption), then it will decrease appetite, increase metabolic rate, increase energy and focus during exercise and increase performance in some instances - depending upon the type of activity and conditions. Users report exactly these effects. However, unlike ephedrine, there are no studies on performance or weight loss with '1,3' or geranium, so no one knows for sure if it has these effects. All of these effects will be enhanced by caffeine. " (Mark Gilbert, Nutritionist and Supplement Specialist).

    - Cirsium Oligophyllum (Plant) Extract
The cirsium oligophyllum, or CE, extract is highly stimulated by caffeine in its direct affects on fat reduction in patients and subjects who supplemented with the CE extract according to a scientific study conducted by members of Kao Corporation's Biological Science Laboratories over in Japan.

    - Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) Bark Extract (Contains Rauwolscine HCl)
"Yohimbe is the name of an evergreen tree that is found in Zaire, Cameroon, and Gabon. The bark of yohimbe contains a chemical called yohimbine, which is used to make medicine... It is also used for athletic performance, weight loss, exhaustion, chest pain, high blood pressure, low blood pressure that occurs when standing up, diabetic nerve pain, and for depression along with certain other medications" (U.S. National Library of Medicine: National Instutes of Health).
I must say, from the research that I've done, yohimbe appears to be the least safe of all the other components of OxyElite Pro (OEP). One of the most significant side effects is an increase in blood pressure.

    Disclaimer:
It appears that the majority of its ingredients are enhanced by caffeine, which each capsule contains 100mg of. I must warn those of you who would like to take this to SERIOUSLY NOT ABUSE THIS SUPPLEMENT. Take ONLY as directed on the bottle, they do this for your safety. An 8-week cycle should be the maximum amount of time you're on it.
Don't stack with USP's Jack3d, unless you really want to die.

    Conclusion:
From my experience, to date, with this product, I have found that it is effective. My weight loss achievements have been very successful thus far after having supplemented with this product. It's really NOT for everyone. If I had any other health problems, I would definitely steer clear of OEP. I've worked very hard for the past month and I've logged my physical stats each morning upon waking; it wasn't until I began supplementing with OEP (on top of my rigorous exercise regime) that I was able to break away from 220 lbs.

Of course, this topic will appear to be always up for debate. I've read far too many successful testimonials along with my own advancements with this product to subject it to slander.

Exactly, don't stack OEP with other stuff. I've reduced my supplement intake to only Whey, Multivitamin, and Fish Oil to be completely safe. Jack3d is now on the top shelf for me, as much as I love the product.

actually, what proprietary blend usually means with these mystery products is they dont have to divulge how much or how little of each ingredient is added....hey folks...do what you want but in the end this stuff is caffeine...if the placebo effect helps and you want to pay ...go ahead...but I wouldnt be putting anything in my body that claims to screw around with my thyroid

I suppose you put it into better words than I; I certainly made it sound much more confusing than it really had to be. Regardless, if they disclosed the exact dosage of each ingredient then they would be surrendering the "recipe", so to speak. The objective is not to trick or cheat people into thinking that their product actually works but to obscure the formula as it's what makes the product unique.

The same goes for any other consumed good. Look at the nutritional facts and ingredients, I can tell you that they never divulge the dosage of each constituent.

with all due respect the reason is exactly that they want you to think the product actually works magically but we could debate that all day......these kinds of products come and go everyday...if you are over 18 and want to use them, good. If there was an actual pill or supplement that really worked it would be all over the news and in every topic all day long....this product is caffiene....the symptons are all linked directly to caffeine....but hey....its a free world. good luck
