I just found MFP today and am really looking forward to using it to track my meals. Several of the other journal sites are just so involved or don't have the foods I eat in their data banks.

    I love to give tips and they are:
    1) Log it BEFORE you eat it, this can help you make wise choices :tongue:
    2) Weigh and/or measure everything, my eye was much larger than actual amounts :noway:

  • Hi, there. IN MFP you can add your food if you don't find them on the data bank.I have some sites where you can find the nutrition chart of food if you don't have it.try www.nal.usda.gov.
  • Hi i am also a new one today i am hoping to drop 55 pounds by may 1st if at all possible but if not will settle to have lost it all by my daughters wedding in june 2010
