Need Info on Nike+ Sport Watch GPS Please!

I just received the Nike+ SportWatch GPS powered by TomTom for Christmas and before I open the box I would like to know if I have to purchase a seperate heart rate monitor strap to acutally monitor my HR OR can I use the one I already have for my Garmin. I really like the simplicity of this watch, but I don't want to have to purchase a Polar HR transmitter to use this function.

Any recommendations on a GPS watch that is comparable in price?

    99% sure you have to get the Nike+ HRM to go with the watch. Different coding in the HRM (a way for them to make more $$ if you ask me)
    I'm looking into getting one now but unlike you I do not have any HRMs right now.
