Post-Xmas workout!

I dread to think how many calories I consumed yesterday with 5 brandies and cokes, one huge plate of pork, turkey, mashed and roast potatoes and about 6 veg, 2 stuffings and apple sauce and 2 bowls of trifle!
I'm still stuffed today though, haven't even managed breakfast! .. I got my new games so hoping to look at those later if I can fnd the energy to move! Daren't get on the scales! ..... What workouts are people doing to get rid of the extra water weight from yesterday? Lots of cardio and lots of water?

well today I managed to eat under 1200 calories with chocolate only half of them o.O
I just wasn't that hungry after yesterdays big feast mmmm I think ate over 30000 -

I'm happy to say I ate healthier yesterday then I normally do and I do plan to workout today. We had a roast, salad, small thing of mash potatoes, and really hit the veggie tray I made.0

I've worked out every day cuz I felt so guilty after pigging out. Did mainly cardio and kick boxing. And yes, gallons of water and herbal teas. I love green tea and nettle tea, they help me to get rid of any retained water.

6 mile pushchair run plus a blast on the wii biggest loser boxing session for an hour I think, only consumed 2200 cals yesterday had a 6 mile walk so that means a calories for weightloss deficit of 140 cals so feeling pretty chuffed and I am still full majorly so but ate breakfast to keep the fire burning ready for the workout blast and already on glass 5 of water :-) have a good day all hope yesterday was crammed full of goodies and you enjoyed every moment x0

No workout planned today ... still have some Christmas festivities, but I will be back to the gym tomorrow and the rest of the week (well until they close it again). I feel a torture session with the dreadmill and the Balance Ball coming in my near future.0

oh yes well I were supposed to today but I was a bit hungover :blushing: and worked 9 hours on my feet (I normally only do 4) so I were a bit worse for wear when I got home

I did both workouts on my 'Walk Away The Pounds' dvd
I think that it was around 450 calories of painful exercise. I ate quite a bit yesterday but not as much as last year cos my stomach has shrunk :P Today I am hoping to be a bit more sensible but there are still lots of lovely treats around :P
Its back to the gym for me on Wednesday, unfortunately my monthly weigh in is on the 28th...............its not gonna be good........
I tried exercising 3 days in a row last week and have learned that my body just can't cope with that. It is asking a lot from my degraded joints I guess.0 -
Yesterday was a true Off day with no exercise, and for the first time since Oct 18 I went over my calories for the day. Only by 74, and had a 600 cal deficit from the day before, but still struggling with feeling bad about it. Heading out to the gym soon.0

I plan 2 very long walks today and to watch my carbs and sugar. Lots of water with lemon and herbal tea.0

total reboot today! I am hoping to make my first sesison of hot house yoga assuming my husband makes it home from work in time. I am gonig to hop ont he gazelle as well for at least a half hour. if he does not get home in time, back on the beast I go!
I always drink water, or coffee. But today I am going to through a little bit of green tea in to flush my system a little bit more. I was harsh on my body all last week and have pretty much been a crazy person the least few weeks. I HAVE to reboot today. I have one more Christmas the second weekend in January and really want to drop a few lbs prior to then.

I didn't plan to weigh but the Pilates game automatically weighed me at 71kg (11st 3!).. so had to get back on bathroom scales with no clothes on to make sure wasn't really that heavy!... bathroom scales were fluctuating between 10st 7 and 10st 10 (147-149lbs?) and I'd reached 145lbs xmas eve.. I'm hoping its just water so fasting today and managed an hours exercise.. planning an early morning 2 hour session tomorrow and hoping the water is off by end of week (though haven't been to bathroom yet since I ate all that food so could be that too!)
My wii has been playing up recently before xmas, the dog has knocked it over a few times flinging her toys about and I keep getting the black screen asking me to unplug.. just before xmas I was on a game and balance board wasn't registering me even though I was on it and keeps switching itself off in middle of exercise.. it does work but sometimes taking 2-3 times and spend at least once rebooting it or unplugging it! ... I'm looking for a black one in the sales.. and hoping this one will hold out until then! .. I have had my Wii though since it first came out so its one of the original ones. I think the newer ones are smaller now?
I'm planning to record weight new years eve so I can work out how much I have left to lose for my new years resolution!.. and I'm hoping I'm at least back to 10st 5 (145lbs) again by then!!0 -
I plan to play Just Dance 3 for a minimum of 30 minutes and maybe lower body weights.0

when I got on scales today I was back to 10st 5 (145lbs) after water all day yesterday and a small light salad with a bit of leftover turkey!
I woke up early and managed to do some exercise today and feel better also, as I measured myself cos my size 14' PJ's that were a little tight across tummy before xmas felt looser and I've lost an inch off tummy and waist so thrilled about that as only managed to lose 2 lb this month with my monthlies been a week late and ending up with 2 weeks of chocolate cravings instead of 1! ... didn't think I was gonna lose any this month!
My focus is more on strength and toning this year so getting into more Pilates than Cardio this time, now I've lost most of my excess weight.. only got about 14lb to go to reach my goal of around 9st 6 (132lbs) :happy:0 -
I had 2 days off of the workouts (xmas pressie to me!) although I did do 4 hours of sale shopping yesterday - and am about to hit another lot today! Am going to do some kind of Jillian Michaels and some Zumba too later. Also - am staying well clear of the scales for a bit0

Have put on 5lb since holiday in August. Was a bit unwell so slowed everything down. Looking forward to getting back on track for 2012 as will be 50 in October and going to be fit not fat, slim not slow. Really want to hit 9.5 stone by then (am 11 st 1 - heaviest ever). Spent his morning reviewing al the diet fads and have decided to go with healthy eating (cut the processed carbs, loads of fish, steak chicken & veg) monitored via MFP, plus 10,000 steps per day via combination of gym, step machine (jst ordered), walking my neighbourhood and a mix of exercise classes to keep things interesting. Hate being this size, got to get back into my clothes. This is going to be my way f life from herein, no more diets 'cos I need a glass of wine & chocolate occasionally & I can do this with MFP. Never posted before. Words of wisdom & encouragement welcomed.0
