Where to find little condiment containers?

Once upon a time, in a land far far away known as my childhood, Tupperware made these cute little containers that held 2oz (I believe) of whatever (ranch, we usually put in them). They were small little cup shaped containers with tiny little leads that popped on, sealing them tightly for portability.

Does anyone know where I can find anything like this????

I am constantly in the need to transport small amounts of condiments to work -- a tbsp of mayo for my sandwich, a couple tbsps of dressing for my salad, a few tbsp of hummus for my carrots. I need small containers for this! I'm tired of using huge containers that don't serve the purpose or trying to put liquids into ziploc baggies (I hate being wasteful and would rather wash and reuse plasticware).

Help! I cannot find these little guys anymore. Please let me know where you have bought them in the past, or what other means you use to transport these small amounts of condiments for meals!

PS- Wondering how many people will wander in here, wondering what I need condom containers for...

I have those! I got them at Martin's, but they were in a pack with some other tupperware. Glad, I think.

I use them all the time!!

Fred Meyer and Safeway both had them last time I purchased mini tupperware.

I was actually tired of washing the little containers after a while, so I bought HUGE boxes of the single packed condiments at Costco. I have TONS of mustard packets  , but it's so nice to just chuck a few in my lunch bag. Maybe that's an idea for some of your items?

I have neither a Fred Meyer nor a Safeway here in North Carolina (that I'm aware of). Boo hiss!!

I did the single serving route, but I started feeling too wasteful. (No idea where my eco-friendly hippie-ness has arisen from!!) But some of my condiments aren't made in single servings (balsamic vinegar or Krafts horseradish sauce or my hummus).

I haven't looked on eBay in a while... maybe I need to look there again. Sigh -- so much work for these teeny tiny containers!!

Might have to check that out. I once used the smallest baby food containers but the lids don't seal tightly and I HATE a mess in my lunch bag (plus then I'm missing that food item and I get  ).

Mini Round: 8 Containers & Lids
    (1/2 CUP / 4 OZ)

Those are listed on Glad.com and you can use the product locater (on the bottom of the site) Choose Glad, then Gladware, then Small bowls and put your zipcode in....it'll tell you what stores around you have them. :flowerforyou:

Walmart's got them, I hate going there but they were cheap! I just got like 15 of them last week. They are great for salad dressing and peanut butter!

Just saw some at Target last night too...
  • Also check the "Dollar Tree" dollar store, they had them near the tooth picks a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise Rubbermaid at Wall-Mart has nice little sizes. Tupperware still makes Midgets and there are a ton on eBay.. But save the shipping other brands will serve the same purpose. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Find a tupperware lady/man. They can order them for you. They aren't in the catalogs, but I know they have tiny little containers that would hold a little dressing or mayo. I have them and use them for pills in my purse too. I think that they are called midgets or smidgets now. These are things that Tupperware ladies can order to give away as gifts at their parties. I have their salt/pepper traveler too. It is great for in the lunch box.

I got some in a Tupperware set for my wedding. They came from Target. Also, Gerber baby food comes in nice reusable plastic containers now, so I save those and use them (my husband is a little annoyed that I have a huge stack of them in the kitchen  ). That's probably only a good idea if you have a baby, huh?

You guys are all so great, THANK YOU!!

I'm gonna look for midgets or smidgets (Tupperware) on eBay.
If no luck there, I will head to Walmart/Target for the 4oz Glad containers, although they are larger than I really wanted (I was hoping for 2oz) but beggars can't be choosers!

    Thank you all again!!!

I got some small plastic containers with lids at a craft store, of all places. They sell them for storing beads, but the package showed they were food safe. I use them for toting condiments to work for my lunch, too.
  • There is a Tupperware.com...Just type in tupperware on google and there you have it. I'm sure they'll have exactly what you're looking for.

You can find those cute little two ounce containers on Amazon right now! I too was searching and found them just now along with your question. Just search "tupperware condiment containers". Good luck!:smooched:

Y'all must not eat as much takeout as I do -- I reuse the containers from restaurants all the time.
