Exercise Calorie Question

I am just curious if any of you who use a heart rate monitor while you workout subtract out your BMR from total calories burned so you don't double count burned calories.
For example if my BMR is 2400 per day (100 Cals an hour) and I workout an hour a day and burn 500 calories would you record your exercise calories burned as 500 or 400?

I do that. For me that is 70 calories an hour, or a bit over one calorie a minute.0
