Feeling Sleepy...

So. I flew home last night and got in bed at 12:30 pm. I only got about 5 hours of sleep and I am REALLY dragging today. Trying to decide if I should work out tonight or just go to bed early and catch up on some sleep. Any suggestions?

  • I would do the workout. It will help you feel better and you won't feel guilty for not doing it.

    I got about the same sleep last night. I'm going to workout and then head home and crash. I know it'll help me sleep better and I'll feel better having gotten it done - even if it's not my usual intensity because of the fatigue.
  • Catch up on sleep - your body will thank you later.

    I say work out. Even if it is only for 30 minutes. You will feel better. Then go to sleep. I always find all kinds of excuses to not work out....being tired, having a headache, being sore...you name it! But I end up going and I ALWAYS feel better. Think about it...have you ever worked out and been like "man, I feel horrible, I wish I wouldn't have done that"? No, you always feel great. So go work out!

    I'll sleep when I'm dead.. or have lost 100 pounds.. whichever is first! No but on a serious note... I think you should go, but make sure you make it a priority to get in a full 8 hours tonight.

    Do whatever you feel like. If you're too tired to function properly then sleep, if you can manage a workout then hit the gym. Only you know for sure how you feel.
