So, my daughter tells me last night she feels bad. Anticipate her staying home from school, I got up at my usual 3 a.m. time, expecting to know out some work before she needed me. Dragging more than usual today. She wakes up at 5:30 needing her mommy with a non-stop 103 fever today. My baby girl is sick!!! Granted, my baby girl is 8 years old, 58 inches and 80 lb. And in pain. So I didn't make it to the gym today, but carried her up and down two flights of stairs (and I'm sure that's not the last of it). Laid down with her for a little bit (little furnace), only to wake up in excruciating pain and realize its my TOM. The bright side to that is that it might explain the scale not moving and maybe early next week i'll see a little slide downward. Oh yeah, my ex had to come sit with our daughter in my house while I ran to the store this morning. so I had to run around cleaning because his wife is a neat freak...and i'm just well not. I mean, I have a full time job and kids and better things to do with my time. Sorry rant over. Anyway, my wonderful husband is in a seminar all day and sent me two e-mails telling me how much he appreciates the sacrifices I'm making today to take care of our daughter. Awwwww! Little ray of sunshine. Then the clouds totally disappear when I get a knock on my door and a very nice gentleman hands me a huge box of flowers with roses and carnations from same wonderful hubby. I LOVE THIS MAN!!!! (my husband, not the flower dude).

Just had to share.

Awesome to you on your flowers. What is it about flowers that just makes a girl's heart melt? I forgot to note that on Saturday I ended up getting two bouquets, one from my husband just because and one from my sister-in-law for babysitting. My house looks like a flower shop and I LOVE IT!!!

What a guy your husband is! He deserves a special treat for being aware! I hope your little princess is back 100% in no time! Be careful you don't get sick, too!
