Like oh so many, I am looking to lean out by 5 or 10 pounds. At 21% BF, these are completely vanity pounds. I know I am at a healthy weight, I just want to be slimmer. I am 5'8" tall and currently 160 pounds. I put on about 5 pounds of muscle in the last year/6 months and would like to take some fat off. I think this would let me new muscles be seen.
I currently workout 4-6 times a week, mostly crossfit type exercises and workout. High intensity, short(er) duration workouts. I get at least one step aerobics class in a week, as well as I instruct one group strength/interval class.
My diet is ok, I would give it an honest B. M-F until dinner, I would give it an A. I am very aware of what I eat, I keep it clean, high protein, low refined carbs. Dinner and weekends....eh. Could be a lot worse.
I am thinking of changing my cardio to first thing in the am, before breakfast. Think this alone will make a difference?

When you want to lean out and lost those last few vanity pounds, the most important thing to do is really watch your nutrition. Make sure you are eating healthy foods in a good balance, and make sure that you are eating only a slight calorie deficit. Too high of a deficit could slow progress for people already at a healthy weight. I also would advise you to be sure to get enough protein throughout the day so that when you are burning off your fat, you are doing what you can to prevent lean muscle mass loss. That plus some weight training will do the trick on a calorie deficit.
I gave you advice on the cardio on your page when I saw the topic posted. :flowerforyou:
