1/4 cup butter, softened (sub with nonsweetened applesauce)

1/2 cup & 1 tbls flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375.
In bowl, cream together butter & sugar.
Mix in water, vanilla & egg.
Sift together flour, baking soda & salt.
Stir into butter/sugar mix.
Mix in the chocolate chips & pecans.
Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.

This makes a small batch of about 12 cookies. My 3 y/o was helping so her heaping teaspoonfuls were.. HEAPING:wink:
