Personally, I like WW and MFP. I will be doing both in 2012. If I can do everything on MFP that I can on WW, I will not go to WW anymore...we will see...

MFP is just like WW only in calories and NOT PP+

i found i get better results from doing mfp and weight watchers. with being on ww i eat alot better and healthier. when i was just doing mfp i seemed to eat not so good for ya food as long as i stayed withing my calories for the day. plus i notice the scale drop faster on both. good luck!

Ok then, I'll be the advocate for slimming world! lol.

For me, having tried both slimming world and weight watchers (and just doing it myself) I think I prefer slimming world. Using mfp does help you to now over indulge, but slimming world I find really helps me differentiate between the good foods I should be eating, and the bad foods I should only have a small amount of if I must (the syns!)

When I tried weight watchers I found myself thinking that if I had to count it anyway then I would make it worth my while, i.e. would think it was ok to eat chocolate because I was counting it and it was within my points target.

My diet is a little different to others though as I don't eat any veg, no pasta, no rice. Am incredibly fussy and variety in my diet basically used to come from the bad things. SW has helped me to compartmentalise in my head the types of food I should be reaching for when I want to snack, and what things I can have together for a dinner and still lose weight.

If I were you weigh up the pro's and cons you have found with each and see what fits you best. It's really hard to make a decision based on other peoples experiences.

    Good luck! x

P.S. Also wanted to say that the main thing about any diet club I've joined that helps me is the being weighed by someone else. Maybe start a club with some friends and weigh each other if this is the main benefit you would get out of it and save some money.

I prefer to work a self-empowering program were I am not dependent on expensive or time consuming support variables. Everybody is different though.

I've only used MFP so that's why it gets my vote :) I have been able to learn which foods I have to eat in moderation, which is really all of them as my problem before MFP was strictly quantity of food, I didn't really eat tons of junk, I just ate a lot of everything I ate! Eeek! Good luck with whatever you choose!
