Not "new", but new to the message boards

Hello everyone,

I'm not new to MFP, but this is my first post on the message boards. I'm not new to weight loss either. As a teenager I was overweight and lost 40ish pounds. Once I got married and had kids all the weight came back and more. I'm not the heaviest I've ever been (thank goodness) but I keep losing my motivation. I'm 5' 2" and weigh 200. I can't seem to break past 200 and it's discouraging. I love to see the 120 number within a year. That's 80lbs of weight to lose.

I've been trying to go to the gym 5 times a week for an hour at a time. At least 45 minutes of that time is spent doing cardio, I do 15min of running and walking with 30 min on the elliptical and then other 15 or more is spent doing weights. I don't really have a lot of direction when it comes to going to the gym.

What all do you do? Do you have any advice for someone like me wanting to lose 80lbs? What works for you?

Thanks!
