Is regular pepperoni (like Hormel) really bad for you? I'm looking at the nutritional info and besides the sodium - doesn't look bad.

On occasion we use the light pepperoni. It has a lot of additives so we don't use it very often. If you are using it for pizza we try to add lean ground beef, turkey, and chicken instead of pepperoni and put it on TJ's whole wheat pizza dough....Yum! A healthy alternative to pepperoni is soy chorizo from TJ's and it is very tasty. It is also good in eggs.

I only know that I love pepperoni so I would have to assume that, since it's yummy, it must be bad for me. That's just by following the general rule in life that everything that tastes delicious must be inherently bad for you. I hope that you find that it's not bad so that I can start eating it by the case.
