Need some recommendations.....please

Ok, so I have been doing this since Jan 21st and I am completely irregular, to a point now that my stomach is rumblin louder then my neighbors straight pipes.........I take a fiber supplement and eat lotsa green veggies......can someone advise me on a natural something to help me along.................I am through my second book here.............................

    try miralax it is otc a little pricy but it isn't a laxative or a stool softener it gets you moving the right way. Too much fiber increased too fast can backfire and stop the movement.

    are you gettin in all your water, and i know you are exercising!! i know cheese will slow me down, but only certain kinds, the ones that are more processed. years ago i would occl use Fenamint gum, and it worked by the next day, but i dont know if they make it anymore. hope things start moving for you soon! :smile:

    Are you drinking LOTS of water? This is one of the main things that gets things coming "out the other end" I try and eat a bowl of high fibre cereal every night and this seems to keep things working like clockwork the following morning :laugh:
  • Bran buds work great and are low in calories. Or Metamucil daily works well too.

    time...you are making LOTS of good changes,,,your real bod is waking up and is tellin you,,,keep going unless you are in pain...these are major adjustments that bod is makin...get into it...it is a good thang!

    ok, answering all.....yes I drink plenty of water...well past the 8/8oz's here, so water intake is not the issue, I take a fiber supplement like metamucil so that won't help doin it already. I do know if I eat crappy fat.....saturated I will go in a minute....but I am not going there. I eat alot of green stuff, someone said salads.....doing it......so.....here I sit....and sit......and sit......:ohwell:

    What Dave you goof...how can constipation ever be a good thang?.......LOL I am good in the eating cals and not eating cals, I am good in the water, I am good in the food choices and good in the exercise.......not so good in the sittin on the pot lately....................hahahahahahahaha

    Never thought I'd be posting this!


    My morning coffee does the trick. Admittedly, I have a coffee sensitive stomach (but can handle spice like I have a iron stomach). Not sure if it's the creamer in the coffee (lots of creamer, tastes very sweet) or the coffee itself, but it keeps me regular.

    The castor oil sounds shi%%y..........hahahahahahahahahahahah, I drink way way more then 8 glasses, I drink more like 12 to 16- 8oz glasses I am sure that I am good in the water department...I am sure it is my nutrition, cause my honey is stopped up too........so we are eating really really well, we just need a little something here.

    OMG!:sick: My granny used to give me this as a kid cause I was never regular. I had hoped to ever think of it again:laugh: She used to also make me drink prune juice before I could have my breakfast oj - she was obsessed w/me poopin :laugh: :bigsmile:

    There is a tea called Smooth Moves - works and doesn't taste half bad.:noway:

    Thanks all, I did so me research on this last night....never thought I would do that.....and they say sometimes with a low cal diet that this will happen. The amount the body sends as waste is lower, especially if you are not eating crap...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I am not in pain or terribly uncomfotable and there is not set "you gotta go everyday" rule. So we will see....

    Activiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........
