Hi!
Just had this website recommended to me by my personal trainer. Basically, I've been trying to lose weight for a couple of months and have done ok, so far, I've lost 12kg. But the 2 last weeks...major slip up, I know its Christmas but my trainer and I had a plan...major problem is that I couldn't stick to it. I came home, to visit my parent for Christmas, got a couple of weeks off and my mum has been unwell so thought I'd stay for all my time off, which I have loved except for losing weight has completely been thrown out of the window, which completely goes against everything I've been taught/learnt since October. Basically, I've not managed to stay anywhere near my calories each day and I've done a fraction of the exercise I wanted to.
Got a call from my trainer today, for a weekly check in, he suggested joining this site as he thought it would do me good to find people I can talk to about losing weight as he thinks I to talk about my weight and trying to lose weight. I've never talk to anyone about my weight loss attempts, I just hate talking about my weight because I feel that people are judging me. With family it gets difficult, the only person who I do talk to but very limited detail is my boyfriend, who is supportive but I really find it hard to tell him about it.
Not really sure what to say or if this post should be somewhere else, if so sorry!
Sorry for the long post and thanks for reading!

It happens & you'll jump back from this! Don't be so hard on yourself! No one is perfect! Try every time you have an extra few minutes, to get on the floor and do some sit ups, push ups, or run around the yard/house! Time yourself and add it in the cardiovascular. It will help you keep track of the calories burned! Good luck on getting back on track! You can do it!!

I absolutely LOVE this website because it gives you a platform to talk about the things that I would NEVER say to my friends or family. I would never tell someone how much I weigh, or talk about how proud I am that I accomplished something, or how excited I am that those pants that wouldn't even fit in mid-October will fall off of my hips if I am not careful -- ALL things I do here and I think it really helps me on my journey. It is like my fitness Facebook.
The most important thing about screwing up is getting back to business as soon as you realize you screwed up. Get back into your routine as much as possible and as quickly as possible. Feel free to friend me if you would like! I love to be supportive and be supported. We are all in this together! NO JUDGEMENT!!!

Life happens. People mess up. Chalk it up to a learning experience and move on. You can't un-eat something. Don't beat yourself up, the rest of the world judges you enough, so give yourself a break.
Get back on track, continue on from where you are now!0 -
Wow! Congratulations on your weight loss!0

One week of falling off is not a big deal. Hop back on and be determined to not let it happen again. It happens to all of us. I am especially bad at sticking to things and it shows with my lack of weight loss.
The goal is keep trying, never give up, and make these changes permanent. Getting into the habit is the hardest part in my opinion.
So good luck, and feel free to add me as a friend. We can all encourage each other!0 -

Hi I just joined this week and I'm already feeling motivated by the friends I've added from this website. Try not to dwell on the yesterdays we all fall off the horse once or twice. As long as you make the effort to get back on you're already a success in my book! Feel free to add me0
