Can anyone tell me what the recommeded proportions of cabohydrate, fat and proten I should have each day is?

I think there is a suggested percentage? But I wondered what that would equate to to put in my goals.

I am following 1,200 but adding about 300 per day through excersise.

Any advise would be appreciated.

There is a fairly wide range of what's acceptable/normal for an active population.

    Carbs 30-50%
    Protein 25-50%
    Fat 20-30%

MFP recommends 15% protein, which is fine for a sedentary population, but active individuals need a bit more.

To add to songbyrd's excellent info:

I've found that too little protein leads to excess hunger for me.

I'm currently at about 25% protein, 25% fat and 50% carbs. Nearly all my carbs come from fruits/veggies since I can't have wheat. (I do still have brown rice occasionally.)
