Workout Plan for using a Mini Stepper

Got a mini stepper for Christmas, but I am unsure how to begin my exercise routine with it. I tried it for a few minutes and was severely out of breath. Of course I know this is because I am very overwright. Anyone have any tips or workout plans to help build my tolerance to it, but at the same time not overworking me?

I'd do what I do with any cardio - intervals. Start off with 2-3 minutes on the stepper, with a 1-2 minute break in between each. Try for 10 minutes total. Each day, increase either the total time, or the time on the stepper. In no time at all you'll be up to 30 minutes!! Maybe try the Couch to 5K intervals - you could look them up - that would get you doing 30 minutes in roughly 8 weeks, although you'd have to be able to do 1 min on 1 min off for 30 mins at the start so you might need a few weeks to work up to that.0
