Got the Polar FT4M Heart Rate Monitor

I just got the Polar FT4M HRM...anyone use this model? Do you only wear it to workout? Could you wear it all day to get a cal burn for the day??
Has it been helpful in reaching your goals?

    I love my HRM and have found it very helpful in keeping me motivated for my cardio workouts.

    I do not believe HRMs are intended to for all day accuracy. If you want something to wear all day, you may want to look into a FitBit or Body Bug.

    So today did leg weight training and yoga. Was DEFINITELY underestimating my cal burn... for weights it was 263 cal (vs the 175 I had) and 368 cals for the yoga (which I had 234)...now to hold food steady for a bit and then begin to slowly increase and see where I am at.
