January 12000+ Calorie Burn Challenge

Options
Hi all!

I'm wanting to start a challenge to burn at least 12,000 calories for the month of January. Who'd like to join me?

I'll have three levels: 12,000; 15,000; 18,000. How many calories can you burn?

You can check in on my blog and I'll have an xls spreadsheet to keep track.

*note* I'll limit this to 15 people (plus any others from the previous challenge I was captaining). Please friend me if you are interested.

Just a question. If you burn the calories, then eat them back, do they count? I have always wondered whether I should eat them back or not. Some say you should, some say you should not. Just wondered.

Hi all! I've got room for one more! The only exception for adding any beyond that would be if there was someone who would be willing to help put info into a google spreadsheet.

    Here's the list so far:

I'm assuming this is calories burned whether you eat them back or not. It's a heated topic on the forums here but I try to eat back about half my exercise calories each day - my body needs the fuel for the workouts - and then once a week I have a splurge day where I don't worry about going over a few hundred calories. I've gotten in the habit of tracking my calories by week, not day - the body doesn't have a magic reset button each day to know if you're consuming the correct daily limit. That's just my opinion and what's been working for me.
