You really should think of us on this dreadful week of the year by sending us chocolates, love, or money :smooched:

    I never got tips

But once last tax season I got a big kiss on the cheek from this lil old lady, leaving lipstick marks. It was fkn disgusting. Lucky I don't work at that firm anymore - I'd make sure she wasn't going to afford any more salmon colored lipstick and hard candies.

Hmmmm this is one person I have not and probably still will not tip. I see them once a year, use different ones, all they do is enter info into a computer program (I know I sit and watch them do it) and I end up paying a whole lot more than I want to. I should just do it myself but there's this voice saying "what if you miss something?". Basically I'm paying for peace of mind.

You shouldn't actually tip your accountant  If they do more for you than one simple filing throughout the year, have your back, have your money's back, then a bottle of wine is always acceptable :drinker:

Just as long as you cool it on the salmon colored lipstick ... then again you could pull it off

My first thought after reading the title of this thread was worse. I thought, "You mean all those accounting jobs haven't been outsourced to India yet?" Sorry, OP!

I never got tips either. But I did get a free dinner now and then. Oh, and I got to split a $200 bottle of wine with 2 coworkers once.

I don't miss doing taxes at all. Thank dog that part of my life is OVER!
