Getting Ready for that New Year's Resolution - AGAIN

Hello All,
Just downloaded the app for my droid today – getting ready for that New Year’s resolution - AGAIN. Decided to practice on-line as it is more convenient for speed typing.
I’m 63 years young, have lost weight in the past and maintained the loss (with a points based business), but need to lose far more so my knee quits complaining when I use the stairs.
This is a great app as it counts calories (which I prefer), and produces specialized reports. As someone who is now considered Diabetic, uncomplicated type II, I need to change my eating habits. No easy task for anyone – or we wouldn’t be here.
Remember to log in daily – as these journals are the road to successful weight loss.
Wishing everyone success for the coming New Year!

At 60 years young it's great to finally say that my New Year's Resolution is to continue the status quo - wish I had figured this calories in/calories out balance years ago. Downloaded this app as soon as it became available for iPads & the first week has gone smoothly. Good luck - happy New Year!0

Glad to hear the same from another youngster! These technical devices will help us and this app will teach us the correct way to consume nutrition for a long and healthy life. Thanks for you post.0 -
This is such a good place to learn how to eat right! Such great folks and tons of good info. I'm 57, have been using MFP just over a year in which time I've lost 50 lbs and have learned a whole new way of eating and cooking. I was afraid of the kitchen at first, but now I'm in there making fun stuff all the time, and entering recipes on here. I've learned to cut way down on sugar and salt, add at least 3500mg of potassium-rich foods daily, and include Omega-3's. I feel sooooo much better in mind, body and soul. Best of luck to you, and Happy New Year! It's going to be a good one, I just know it!0
