I am trying to get back on track and need friends with same goals for inspiration! I am female, 48 years, high blood pressure, married, two kids and approximately 30 - 40 pounds to lose. • when i lose motivation i try to remember why i started in the first place! you can do it! stay strong because it's worth it!!
  • I am 46, new to MFP, and I need to lose about 55 pounds. I have 4 kids, aged 11-25. I'll be your fitness buddy if you like. We can help each other!

Don't beat yourself up too much over your lapse. The important thing to remember is that you caught yourself before you gained back even more weight. Each day you choose to eat right or work out, will put you one step closer to your goal weight. I will confess that the thought of working out just really bums me out - I don't WANT to do it, but I know deep down that it may be the easiest way to get me to my goal as soon as possible. What do you find to be the hardest thing about losing weight?

I know, I started trying this a few months ago and just stopped. Don't worry about it, the end of the year is the hardest, new weight is easier to lose, and we're going into a new time with fewer temptations. Everyone has setbacks. You can do it!
