Okay I just need to vent for a moment. Recently, a neighbor got a puppy. Which I totally don't mind, except it barks constantly. The must lock it up during the day in a kennel or 1 room because it's louder in the back or our apartment than the front but the back is where our office is. My husband works nights so while he's trying to sleep during the day, the dog is barking all the time. It started at least 2 weeks ago and I let it go because I figured it was a puppy and just needed to adjust. It's become beyond ridiculous now though. I finally went to the office today (since I don't know which neighbor it is) and told them about it. I hate to be "that person" but, really? The lady in the office tells me that we can't have puppies. I didn't know this since I don't have a dog and my cat is 10.5 years old. I never worried about the pet policy outside of the fees. I looked at the complex website when I got home and sure enough it says pets must be at least 1 year old. The office says they are going to take care of it but i all reality unless they either kick the tenants out or force them to get rid of the dog I don't see a change happening. ARGH! I seriously don't care if they have a puppy I just want them to stinkin' take care of it properly so that it's not constantly locked up and barking it's little head off. And it's not a small dog puppy like a pug. It's a medium - to - big dog puppy. Is it too much to ask that I be able to work from home or goof off on MFP without the barking dog in the background? I actually feel bad for the dog. Okay. I'm done now. Back to trying to get the rest of my day's work done.

My neighbors who I share a wall with have a little yipping dog. It can go on for hours at a time. In my weaker moments I've contemplated... awful things.

    I feel your pain.

Now there's a solution! Dog-sharing makes perfect sense.

I'm at work during the day so not available too. I have home access but only use it at night when I don't get everything done for the day before I leave the office.

Ditto! I've had evil thoughts about the incessant barking from the dog across the street. They work nights and lock him outside so he barks all night long.

i know how you feel. I have a new neighbor in my building with a lil froo froo dog that yips all night until they get home. It's a dog friendly community so they won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Good luck with your situation, hope it improves.
