(I found this in my blog from months ago and thought I'd share)
Lately I have had a weird obssession with Trya Banks, but then agian, who doesn't? I was watching her show and she has Meghan McCain on the show talking about her weight. I guess Miss McCain has been a target from other policatical figures about weight and some lady called her fat and what not. She said she won't let little comments get her down and that she knows she's healthy and happy and that's all that matters.
Well Trya made a great point that a woman's body is constantly changing for fashion. How in certain decades, you needed to be curvey, others you need to be stick thin, while others you needed to be athletic and have broad shoulders. She said women have to recognize that they are beautiful and shouldn't let themselves fall to body types that are "in" for a decade.
That is a great piece of logic and I think a lot of people could benefit from that mind set; and when you think about it, it's so true. It makes so much sense! So I think everyone needs to chew on that and maybe try to relate that to self esteem. I know I have horrible self esteem and this seriously makes me think.
Much love.
