Polar FT4

Hi all

I am looking at getting myself an HRM and having looked at the Polar website and putting in what I want one for it has recommended the FT4. However I cannot see from the website whether it comes with a chest strap or not and I have seen loads of posts saying not to bother if the HRM does not come with a chest strap.

Has anyone got one of these? would you recommend it?

All Polars come with a chest strap.. They just call it a fabric wearlink transmitter.

Look on amazon.. they have great deals on Polars! I just bought the FT60 for 115 from there.

Yes they do....... I just bought a ft7 and couldn't tell by looking at the box if there was a chest strap and if it would fit me. So I bought it and at the cash register I opened it to see, before I walked out; because even the people in the store could not tell me. Soft elastic band with some fabric on it also. Very comfortable.

Brilliant! Thanks all, I have taken the plunge and ordered the ft4. Let's hope it helps me get fitter in 2012
