I was thinking of starting a group for adapting exercises for those of us with mobility issues.. and wondered if enough people would be interested to start a group?
It would not be about burning calories, running miles or gaining loads of muscle but more for those of us who are wheelchair users or other mobility issues which affect daily life.. All exercises will be designed to work on core muscles and functions that will help us to keep our independence (ie strength, balance, co-ordination)
an example would be.. adapted pilates floor exercises that work on the core.. as we need core muscle strength to be able to sit without getting tired, keep balance in a wheelchair, keep balance to rise to standing or for sitting transfers (for paraplegics) etc.
If anyone is interested please comment below and I'll find out how to start a group and send you invites.
Thank you

Yes, I am interested if I qualify. I have a very bad hip, was told I will need surgery. My exercise is very limited. I dont have mobility issues though.0
